Why a human voice is necessary for your brand.

How many times have you been put on hold and are left listening to pain staking music, or a computerised voice that just has no appeal? It happens more often that not. And the longer you are on hold, the less likely you want to continue through to the conversation. This is just one of the areas, where a human voice is necessary for your brand. When you make your business and your brand feel comfortable to those coming to you, they are more likely to want to work with you. That is why a human voice is necessary for your brand.

Do you want your brand to have undeniable appeal that makes others stop, look…..and listen? One that comes to mind as being in a league of your own?

Think about when you interact with someone in person. The connection that you feel. The safety and comfort that comes from speaking with a real person. You are more likely to want to work with someone after speaking to them and feeling that connection, right?

But not all communication and services can be completed in person. That is why when it comes to other areas of your business, you need to be able to bring this human connection across.

A human voice helps to give your customers a real feel of connecting with you.

Your brand voice will bring personality to your business. It will show your current and potential customers that you are a real person behind the computer screen. That you want to engage with them and build a connection.

What areas of my business should I use it in?

When it comes to your business, think about the different ways that someone can communicate with you and these are the areas where you need to remove the automated, computer voices and incorporate a human voice.

These areas of your business can include on-hold music on the phone, videos on your website and voice overs in course content you have created.

Any time in your business where you are not able to personally communicate with your customers or clients, should have a voice there. Rather than using on- hold music that will put them to sleep, a friendly message in a real voice is more likely to keep them engaged.

Courses that require both reading and listening? Your clients will be able to engage and stay more focused when they can hear someone actually talking to them.

How do I work out my brand voice?

When it comes to determining your brand voice, it comes down to a few things.

The type of business that you have plays a big part in it. If you are a business working in the wellness industry, you want to have a voice that matches that. It is important to find the voice that matches your brand. The voice that will relate to your clients and connect with them.  Knowing your industry, your niche and how your target market perceives your brand will help you to decide on the best branding for your business.

Together I can work with you to determine the best way forward. We can discuss the different branding options, the different areas in which you can add a human voice and in what capacity.

Whether you are just starting out in business or you have been in business for a few years, it is never too late (or too early) to stop and reevaluate where your branding is. It may be that you want to do a complete overhaul of your branding. Change your colours, your logo, the entire way your brand is perceived. Or you could simply want to focus on strengthening the branding that you already have. By adding in a human voice to your branding strategy it will make a world of difference. People will perceive your business in a new way. They will feel comfortable, connected and secure with working with you.

So let me ask you this, how much time have you spent considering the way your brand sounds?

The way your brand identify sounds to your clients?

Is it time to make a change?

A human voice is necessary for your brand, now is the time to get started.
